Emergency Drills

Six-Point Emergency Disaster Service provides services to Nursing Homes, Assisted Livings, Hospitals, and Businesses across the southern part of the United States. We currently have over 200 facilities we service each month conducting Fire and Disaster Drills.

Fire Drills are mock drills where we place a mock fire in an area, and the alarms are sounded. The staff must then respond as if it were a real fire and do what is required by State and Federal Regulations. We then go through an in-service with staff that involves resetting the alarm system, pull stations, mag locks, etc.

The Disaster Drills are mock drills of a tornado, chemical spill, flood, hurricane, or active shooter. Staff members are informed of the disaster in the area, and they must shelter in place if needed and then evacuate the facility if needed. Afterwards, the staff is trained on the in-service process.
